Schedule Your Meet N Greet

Your dog is ready for their dreams to come true!

What happens during the Assessment and Orientation?

1. OBSERVATION & ASSESSMENT: During our time together, Toby observes your dog on very subtle levels and get to know their personalities, behaviors, preferences, and communication styles. She’ll begin to understand their needs and how best to meet them. Every part of WPA is about creating Conscious Canine Community and your dog will become an important part of a compatible dog pack. You will discuss your training accomplishments and goals. It's vital that pet parents be totally transparent and honest about their dog, since Toby will end up seeing everything at some point anyway :)

2. ANSWER QUESTIONS AND ORIENTATION: You'll be able to ask questions and get a better feeling for Wild Pup Adventures services. Toby will walk you through the basics of scheduling, payments, the "perks" of the program. You'll read through the waiver and other forms that I'll collect if you decide to sign up.

LOGISTICS

(*These details will be emailed to you along with a confirmation and reminders. Make sure they are set to go into the correct inbox.)

We Meet at Winkelman Dog Park, which has both a fenced and an unfenced area. Our meeting lasts for approximately 1 hour.

The fenced part of the park is limited in the winters to a smaller area. Please know that at least one of Toby’s dogs and/or a Wild Pup Adventures pack member may join us. Other prospective Wild Pups may also join as well. If pack leader, Raven, is present, she tends to take on a very authoritative stance, which is important in order to establish herself as the leader. She does this more with young, confident females than with others.

Please text Toby when you arrive in the parking lot and then enter the dog park. She will be observing the details of your dog's behaviors, mannerisms, and non-verbal communication throughout the meeting. Although humans don't always know what Toby is observing or looking for, every part of the time together is valuable in getting to know your dog... and you!

Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing so that you are comfortable.
